Shirley, Brian and the staff would like you to feel at home at the Wells Knitting and Craft Centre.
We are a long established and knowledgeable business with 25 years experience.
We are happy to supply you with knitting materials and associated products at realistic prices.
We offer advice on products and skills in a relaxed and encouraging style.
Our shop is packed to the roof with yarns old and new, only a few of which are offered for sale on this web site; so we strongly recommend you come and see our ALADDIN’S CAVE in the beautiful Cathedral City of Wells nestling at the foot of the Mendips in the lovely County of Somerset.
We have the fond memories of the ‘Traditional Wool Shops’ of old. They were places where customers were never hassled into making quick decisions and where staff always found time to chat, so if you cannot see what you are looking for please contact us by phone or E-Mail; there is always someone available to help.
We believe that selling knitting wools is a "hands on" business in which the proprietors are personally involved. It is hands on in another way as well; it should be a tactile experience in that customers have to be able to handle the yarns
So the whole shop layout lets YOU get intimate with the yarns
Our local craft shop has closed so we now stock Anchor & DMC Stranded Cottons and Tapestry Wools, a wide range of kits and canvases, Fabrics, Ribbons, Sewing Threads and other General Haberdashery, including a HUGE range of Buttons
